Recruitment Guidelines - Please read before posting

Important Note

As CTSamurai now has a reduced raiding schedule many of the guidelines for applying to the Guild are now irrelevant. If you still wish to apply then you should still use the template below as a guide, but ensure that you read this post so that you know the situation before applying.


Class Restrictions

High - We need this class and may consider applications with lower than average gear. High chance of being invited.
Medium - We will expect applicants to be reasonably well geared. Medium chance of being invited.
Low - We will consider exceptionaly geared or skilled applicants. Other applicants will have a low chance of being invited.
Closed – We are not currently recruiting characters of this class.

Level Restrictions

Generally we recruit only level 70 characters, unless you are a good friend of a current member or of a class we are short on.


Equipment Restrictions

We no longer set aside time to raid Karazhan as a Guild, so in general we expect applicants who intend to raid to already have gear at that level or above.

Before you think of making an application you should read the following pages, as they explain what kind of Guild we are and how the application system works:

Making An Application

If you want to apply to join CTSamurai please use the New Topic button and post an application. The format below must be used as a template. Applications that do not use the template below will be rejected:

Are you able to raid between the hours of 20.15 and 00.30 server time Wednesday to Friday evenings and 14.15 till 18.30 server time Saturday and Sunday afternoons (Please note you do not have to be able to attend all these time slots but an indication of how many of these slots you can attend will be useful)?

You must list the names of all your alts, both those applying for membership and those not applying for membership, in the appropriate sections. There is an example application form posted as a sticky on the board here.


Recruitment

You will need to wait until your application has been approved before being recruited to the Guild. Your application may not be approved until you have been seen online by your Class Lead, so please ensure you are online and active as much as possible while your application is being considered. Applications are dealt with by the Class Lead of the class you are applying with, the names of Class Leads are listed here. Please contact the appropiate Class Lead in the event of any questions about the application process.


Guild Members

If you know and support the applicant feel free to reply to their application stating this. If you have objections or concerns regarding an applicant please either use the Member's forum or contact the appropriate Class Lead, a Sensei or the Shogun.
