We were let out early. But only by like an hour. Fortunately my commute isn't very far, fair amount of snow on the roads.
I recently moved to a window seat at work. The trains were quite spectacular, throwing snow up into the air.

I battled my way in today only for people to say "wow, didn't expect you to make it in". Really could have got away with staying home, maybe I will next time!

2 years ago I was working from home at the start of the week due to the buses not being able to get me to work. First day that i am able to get there on the bus I get a text as I arrive at the office (my bus left at 7:15 and arrived at 8:30) saying we'll be shut for the day. Tried ringing my boss, no answer, walked back to the nearby town (buses weren't getting to the industrial estate) and waited for a bus back, had to walk 2 miles to Stanley cos no buses came. Halfway there my boss rings me back and expects me to come back to the office, I dismissed the suggestion and he said that I could go back and work at home instead. Only got back at 4pm, didn't do much working from home

Don't check it too often so that it keeps a low profile - they could be blocking the most visited sites!
