World of Warcraft - Mists of Pandria

Post by Demonheart »

I don't bear any cool links, check MMO-champion or something.

TLDR pandas and stuff

I've played this game since 2005, and I've always looked forward to the newest expansion pack. This time, it's just not doing anything for me. Pandas are gay and I don't trust their lies. :) However, I'm sure we're all tried to quit, and it never seems to work, does it? So I may just end up buying the expansion, at least at some point. It just feels really nice playing a balanced game (SC2) for once so I don't miss WoW pvp!

There's so much doomsaying going on that the only real way to tell is to try it yourself, there's such a big community of "omg gay pandas, WoW is dead QQ i'll quit now bye!" that you really can't rely on anything anyone else says.
Also WoW pvp will never be balanced, play another game for pvp =p

Pandas are an evolutionary dead end, carnivores maladapting to being herbivores; searching for a niche, they select a plant that totally dies every few years meaning that they are likely to die of starvation until it regenerates....... unlike humans, they are within a few score calories of dying every day.
So do you really, really think that when they are so boderline the females find pregnancy life threatening they have the energy to leap around and spin and shout brrrrrrr
sheesh

Yes, I will be getting the expansion.

just read these on MMOsite.com

I would say the first one is an April fools, but as it was put up in October, I doubt it.

Pokemon-esque vanity pet battle system
a Challenge mode for dungeons. could be good.

I am actually really looking forwards to the expansion, it will be interesting to see how the pet battles work at least.

It's quite pretty. Pandaren starter zone is nice but the monk class isn't as smooth to play as you'd expect. Only got to lvl 12 though.

First 85+ zone is also very pretty, lots of animals, almost like stv filled with outland animals (yay model reuse efficiency) with the colour scheme from the goblin start zone (kinda makes sense I guess).
